Welch Allyn Employees Give Auburn A Hand

Through a company campaign to help its neighbors called a "Show Of Hands", employees of this leading manufacturer of diagnostic medical equipment in nearby Skaneateles Falls, spent Friday, July 23, helping out several agencies.

Nicole Hulik, an employee of Welch Allyn, spearheaded the team assigned to the Auburn Beautification Commission. She worked with fellow ABC Board Member Christina Selvek and city staff to identify key areas poised to benefit immediately from several hours of physical labor by these workers

They made significant improvements in Benton Street Playground, Pomeroy Park, and the Exchange Street Mall.

City Partners with ABC for Adopt a Spot Program

The City of Auburn's relationship with the Auburn Beautification Commission continues with the "Adopt a Spot" program. This is an chance for businesses and individuals to plant flowers, foliage and landscaping on city-owned locations. The sponsoring business or individual will be identified by signage at the site. ABC will coordinate these efforts with the interested participants, the City of Auburn and the Commission. This is another opportunity to improve the visual appearance and quality of life in our community.
