The City Treasurer's Office, under supervision of the Treasurer, is responsible for the preparation and mailing of all City tax bills, collection of all revenue, including City tax, delinquent County and School tax, water and sewer bills, landfill fees, parking tickets and miscellaneous departmental fees. This office receives payment for approximately 40,000 bills annually.
The administration of all issued parking tickets is also handled through this office. The Treasurer is responsible for all tax delinquency procedures, and serves as custodian of all City money and together with the Assistant Comptroller, monitors the daily balances of all accounts to optimize return and ensure availability when needed.
