Permits are issued by the City Treasurer's Department at City Hall for licensed drivers who live in the City of Auburn, as well as the surrounding towns and villages. These include Aurelius, Fleming, Owasco, Throop, Sennett, and Sempronius.
Please note that request must be initiated by a physician. Do not come to City Hall for a permit unless you have a MV-664 form filled out by your doctor.
Handicapped Parking Permit Procedure:
1. Your doctor will fill out his portion of Form MV-664 to request a temporary or permanent permit.
2. Complete your portion of the form and bring it to the City Treasurer's Office at City along with your drivers license.
3. The appropriate permit will be issued in the form of a tag to hang on your vehicle's rearview mirror when parking.
